Can you recommend any product which can be used to form a catalytic convertor heat shield, but remain structurally sound?
The Nimbus Heat Shield material we stock is structurally rigid and so could be used as a heat shield. There are two grades Aeroteck Nimbus which is two layers of aluminium crinkled together in a regular pattern. It can be worked by aluminium sheet. The other is Aeroteck Cirrus the same material but with a ceramic layer between the two aluminium layers.
