Can you tell me the maximum operational angle of the GKN Plunging Size10 joint as used on many Formula Ford 1600 race cars?
The maximum working angle for this GKN joint when using the fastboot MS6J002 on this joint will be 10°. If you are using the more conventional boot the maximum angle is 22° but the RPM for the conventional convoluted boot should not exceed 2300rpm.
