With these Mocal fuel breathers, does it unscrew into 2 pieces, and reassembled sandwiching the fuel tank material between? I'm perplexed how it would be fitted any other way. But if it is as I say, then why is there a hose to be joined on both the top and the bottom.?
That Mocal Tank breather is designed to be fitted in a breather hose rather than the tank itself. We do one which is threaded on the bottom which can be screwed to a tank if a threaded boss is welded to the tank. This Mocal fuel breather has 8mm push on unions each end. The valve screws into the housing which is why it is in two parts.
