How warm may a rear differential be ? I have a Westfield 11 with Midget 1275 driveline and i attached a thermometer with a rem. sensor, and it reads 45-50 degree. C,after driving 25 km.
The gear oils from Millers and Red line will provide protection up to 100 degree C. The temperature you report are normal.
